Fourth of July

We began our day at the 4th of July parade.  We go every year and the kids love it.  Mimi, Pawpaw and Aunt Christine joined us this year.  The kids racked up a whole bag full of candy as usual.  Our little town puts on the best little parades.  I had originally planned to get in a little pool time before heading out for the evening but we were all tired so we just rested and took short naps.  Our air has been out for over a week so we are all sitting in front of huge fans.  Then we headed out to Belinda and Kenny's house to cook out.  The kids played on their water slide a little while before dinner.  Then we watched a huge fireworks display put on by their neighbors.  It's awesome watching fireworks from the comfort of a back porch instead of dealing with the crowds.  We had a great day celebrating with friends and family.
