The kids all had their Easter parties at school on Friday before Easter. I was in charge of both parties. The boys started with a "scavenger" egg hunt. They had to find eggs with certain things on them . This also got in a little practice with their color words, letters and numbers. I thought it would be difficult helping them both but they did pretty good with it. They had a good time and it was a great way to make it a little more challenging. Then they snacked on rice crispy "birds nests", fruit and peep kabobs and bunny crackers. As usual they went home with a huge amount of candy. This was their last official "school" party at preschool since the end of the year party is usually held off campus. Sad!
Abby had her party later that afternoon. Abby also had an egg hunt but they were each assigned a number to hunt. The weather has warmed up by that afternoon so it was nice. Then they snacked on cupcakes, fruit and peep kabobs and bunny crackers. One of the parents brought in baby bunnies so she loved that!
