We had plans for Bobby to take a day off for fall break and we were going to the mountains for the day to pick apples and hike. Well...Strep throat hit again. Abby caught it again and they gave her stronger medicine which she had a reaction to. She broke out all over and then we had to start all over with antibiotics. So we didn't get to do our big day out. We tried to keep her home as much as possible during the break. On Sunday she had been in the house 4-5 days straight so Bobby came up with the plan to ride up to the mountains to get some apples and at least go for a drive. We had a good little day. Abby was a little nutty from being cooped up and taking Benadryl for several days. She got a Shrek hat and mask with her Wendy's meal and spent most of the day wearing it. We did manage to get some apples and stopped at a few scenic overlooks. By Monday we did venture out to the library and Steak and Shake for lunch. Even though we didn't do a lot it was still nice to not have to get up early and rush out the door.
In other news, Noah lost his 4th tooth. It was literally hanging by a thread by the time we realized and Bobby pulled it. The tooth fairy should just move in with us! Noah and Nathan each have a couple more that are loose right now.
