Back to the Campground

We spent Tuesday at the campground again with Mimi and Pawpaw.  As usual, the kids had a ball.  We took a walk to the playground and spent some time there. Then we came back and did a little craft that Mimi had planned.  They each made little visors with their names on it.  They all did a good job with it.   Abby had to decorate the bottom of hers so that she would be able to see the "pretty flowers."  I don't think I took a good picture of Nathan's but he insisted on putting a puppy wearing sunglasses on his.  Pretty creative!  Pawpaw made us lunch while we finished up and then Mimi baked us some Easter cookies.  Later we took the kids down to the lake to play with the remote control boat and "practice" fishing.  I think we might have some little fishermen on our hands.   We came home tired and dirty. A successful day!  After a short rest, we went back outside to water the plants and run around in the yard.  We found a bird's nest in one of my ferns so the kids are super excited about that.  I have really enjoyed this week and the weather (minus the pollen.)  I would love to have a summer full of 80 degree days!
