Actually, Mimi and Pawpaw were the ones that were camping. I decided that we would just do a few day visits and not actually spend the night. It is so much work to pack all the stuff that we need and last time Abby got sick and we had to come home the first night. The kids love hanging out at the campground and playing with their cousins. We take walks and ride bikes. They spend hours digging in the rocks and loading it up in their dump trucks. We walk down to the lake. We always cook out burgers and dogs (yum)! It has actually become more relaxing for us over the last few years. The kids entertain themselves so well and we actually get to sit and talk a little while. We spent all day Saturday with them and will spend at least another day this week since it its Spring Break. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. ( Of course, we missed Pam, Jeremy, Clayton and Jonathan. Clayton was at home with a terrible case of bronchitis. ) Like most of our camping days, we finished off the day with smores. It had started raining at this point but no problem. Mimi whipped some up on the camper stove.
