Mother's Day 2013

We had a nice Mother's day and were able to spend it with both of our mothers.  The kids and Bobby got me my favorite Bath and Body products and each one made me a handmade card.  It was all sitting outside my bedroom door when I walked out that morning.   The kids also made me gifts at school.  They boys made flowerpots and Abby gave me a coupon book.  She told me this week that I have cashed in a few of them so many times that they have expired!  haha! I am so thankful to be a mommy to my 3 healthy, happy, wild and crazy kids.  Sometimes it gets so crazy around here but I still wouldn't trade it for anything.

I also want to thank my mother for everything she does.  She has always done so much for so many people in her life and I hope she knows how much we appreciate her.  I have said it before but I couldn't survive motherhood without my own mother.  I cannot count the millions of times I have picked up the phone to call her to ask her a question about a cold, rash, discipline problem, etc.  or even to tell her some crazy thing the boys have done to help me laugh it off.  Thank you for always being there for the whole family!

I also want to thank my mother in law for everything she does for us.  First of all, thank you for raising a great son.  Also, thanks for everything you do to help us with the kids.  You also get your fair share of advice phone calls from us.  I'll always remember all of those doctor appointments that you went to with the boys.  First it was helping me dress and undress 2 newborns and later  wrestle 2 wild toddlers in a small exam room.  Fun times!

I am so thankful for all of the blessings in my life.  There are some people that I had on my mind that day.  For those that have lost their mothers it was a hard day.  Then there are some that have lost their children.  Others have had really hard Mother's Days in the past because they have had to wait so long to become a mother or maybe haven't yet.  I have people close to me in every situation and I thought about each and every one of you that day.
