One of our favorite Christmas traditions is going to our little local festival of trees with our friends Belinda, Kenny, Mary Helen and Maggie. We look forward to it every year. There are several trees decorated by local merchants. The kids love the cookies, hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The highlight of the night is visiting Santa and telling him what we want for Christmas. We just follow the kids around taking pictures because it's such a beautiful setting. This year my goal was to get a Christmas card picture because time was running out. Belinda and I were both able to get the cutest pictures for our card. We had a great time and the weather even cooperated. It had been in the 70s that week. Not very festive weather! That particular day the temps dropped down pretty cold so it was perfect. We finished up our night with pizza and gingerbread houses. More pictures to come on that!
