Cookies!

My little crew has been helping me bake cookies for a few years now.  I'm not much of a baker but my kids love it.  Their fairy godmother, Cindy, started baking with Abby when she was just a tiny thing.  She would come out and spend the afternoon teaching Abby how to roll out the dough, cut out the ornaments and decorate cookies.  (I guess she actually taught me how also!)   After the boys were born she was brave enough to even do it with all three a few times.  I have tried to carry on the tradition and bake with the kids each year.  Of course, Cindy prepped me for this.  She has bought me many cookie cutters, cookie sheets, rolling pins and all of the other essentials over the years.  This year we made the usual sugar cookies and then the kids did lots of decorating.   It was a fun way to spend Christmas Eve morning.
