Cathedral Caverns
Over the kids' fall break we took a little day trip over to Cathedral Caverns. We took a 2 hour hike through this awesome cave. An individual had owned the cave for years and he explored it and opened it up so that people could access it. The kids loved it and never even complained off the long walk. There were all sorts of interesting rock formations and you could even see the imprint of fossils in the walls. When we had walked as far as we could go, lights were switched on and we saw this huge section of the cave that looked liked cathedrals. It was amazing and the pictures don't do it justice. Another fun family day in the books.
