Festival of Trees and Santa

A few weeks ago we went with some good friends to our local Festival of Trees.  This is where our kids have always visited Santa and they look forward to it every year.  This event is held in a very old building and they have tons of trees donated by local merchants.  They serve cookies and hot chocolate and have a fire outside for roasting marshmallows.  This is one of the many things that I love about living in a small town.  All of my kids are at the age that they are no longer scared of Santa.  They jump right in his lap and talk his ear off!  We checked out all of the trees and the kids each chose their favorite to have their picture taken with.  Then of course we just follow them around snapping lots of pictures of the kids in front of the pretty decorations.
