Nutcracker

The boys' class took a field trip to the theater downtown to see a production of the Nutcracker.  Needless to say, I was a little nervous about taking two five year old little boys to watch a ballet performance.  Their teacher read the book in class and I read it again the night before the show.  They were actually very interested and enjoyed the show.  I took my second graders years ago when I taught and the kids didn't really seem to enjoy it.  So, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the boys did.
