The boys had their annual Sing Around the Tree and party at school last week. Unfortunately Nathan came down with the flu and strep throat on Tuesday night so he missed the entire last week of school before the holidays. Poor guy! He just cried and cried when he realized he was missing his party. Bobby took him to pick out a movie and lots of candy while we were at the party. He watched Santa Paws, ate a bag of popcorn and an entire chocolate bar. Needless to say he forgot about the party. Noah had a good time. When he came in he kept looking until he found me. Even after they started singing he was still waving at me. After the sing a long we went back to the room for the party. I have never seen so much food in my entire life. I am pretty sure that Noah went into a sugar coma after a few minutes! :) They decorated gingerbread men, ate lots of food and exchanged gifts. We had a good time but sure missed Nathan. We took him an entire plate of food so he even got to decorate the gingerbread men.
Abby celebrated at school for a couple of days. I was supposed to go both days but I had to miss the first day to stay with Nathan. On the first day they had their party. They had a pizza party with a few desserts. The next day was Polar Express Day and everyone went to school in their pj's. Of course Abby loved that. They had hot cocoa and cookies while they watched the movie. That afternoon I went in and did some crafts with the class. We made snowman kabobs and little foam snowmen. In all the excitement I didn't manage to get a single picture of Abby's class. By the time I went in on Friday afternoon they were beyond excited!
