Pool Day

We have been cramming in as much fun as possible because we only have a few weeks before school starts.  There hasn't been a whole lot of cooking, cleaning or laundry going on around here.  This is the first year that the boys will go every day so I plan on just trying to get caught up when school starts.  Belinda and the girls came out to swim last week on her last day before she started work.  They wore themselves out swimming as usual.  We finished off the day by taking Abby over to Nana's.  She and Karlie had a couple of days of "Girl" time at Nana's and Papa's.  I took the boys for dinner at their favorite pizza place.

Sleeping Babies

I caught this picture of the boys sleeping a few weeks ago.  I couldn't help but be reminded of how they slept for the first three months of their lives.  Wow! I can't believe they are about to be 5!

Girls' Day Out

Abby and I both love to have a little Girls' Day Out every now and then.  Last week we spent the day with Belinda and Mary Helen.  We had a nice lunch out on a patio and then took the girls to the mall.  They danced, skipped and hopped their way through the mall.  They always have the best time together.  Of course, no mall trip would be complete without cookies and icees.  We had a day full of GIGGLES!

Happy Birthday Bobby!

Bobby's birthday actually fell during vacation this year.  We didn't celebrate at the beach but the kids did make cards and we let him choose his favorite restaurant that night.  After we came home we had his family over for dinner and cake.  I made his favorite meal which is baked ziti (one of my favorites too).  We had a great time celebrating with family that night.

Back Home & Painting

We have been back home for a few weeks and we are busy, busy, busy.  First, we had a new air conditioner put in a few days after we came back.  After that we had to do a major house reorganization since we had been living on one level for several weeks.  Daddy reorganized the whole attic as he put everything back.  I reorganized all of the boys' toys.  We have now moved all of the toys except for about 5-6 things to the upstairs.  We are slowly reclaiming the house. :) Daddy even rearranged our bedroom furniture.  As I complained about the lack of space in our bedroom he worried that I was leading into "new house" fever.  So he jumped up and started moving furniture.  He was only able to make a few changes but it helped quite a bit.

Other than projects we have been trying to cram in lots of fun since school is just around the corner.  We have spent lots of time with friends and family over the last few weeks since many of them start school before us.  Last week the boys attended "Kids Day Out" at our church.  We had a "Girls Day" with Abby's best friend Mikayla.  We went out for breakfast and then went to a new little place in town to paint.  The girls had a good time and they both did a great job with their paintings.  They were so cute because they were so excited to be back together.  They haven't seen each other since the beginning of summer.  We finished off the day with a sleepover.

Goodbye Beach

The beach is my absolute favorite place to be.  I love just relaxing and playing with my family on the beach.  I was lucky enough to get two trips to the beach this summer but I was still so sad to say goodbye when we left.  Luckily my kids love it as much as I do and we've already started talking about going back next year.  This drives Bobby crazy that I plan next year's vacation on the way home from the current one.  I get it from my mom so I can't help it!  Anyway, here are my goodbye pictures that I took as we left.  I always feel the need to walk out on the beach one last time before I leave.
