Pumpkin Patch 2014

We took our annual trip to the local pumpkin patch with Belinda, Kenny, Mary Helen and Maggie.  We have gone every year since our boys were born.  It's such a fun tradition and the kids always look forward to it.  Some years we have rescheduled several times due to conflicts or someone being sick but we always manage to squeeze it in.   Belinda and I are going to be really sad if the kids ever decide they are too old.  We will probably make them go anyway.

Hilton Head

Bobby and I recently took a little working trip to Hilton Head and Kiawah Island.  He had to go to find a spot for the summer convention for an organization that he is in and I tagged along.  We didn't really have any free time but we  toured some really nice resorts.  We had several nice meals and had time for uninterrupted conversations in the car.  I didn't actually put my toes in the sand but I saw the beach several times.  A big thanks to Nana and Papa for babysittting and doing school drop off and pick up each day.

50th Day of School

First grade dresses up and has a special day to celebrate the 50th day of school.  Everyone dresses from the 50's.  The kids had a special treat of coke floats.  They did tons of fun math activities with the number 50  also.  The boys sure are loving 1st grade!
