Noah & Nathan's Awards Day

The boys had a performance and awards day the last week of school.  The entire first grade sang several patriotic songs in the lunchroom.  All of the kids were dressed in red, white and blue and it was very cute.  After the performance we went back to the individual classrooms for a class awards program.  Their teacher came up with an award for each child.  She talked about each child for a few minutes and described the award.  The kids would then all guess who was getting that award.  They were usually able to guess.  Noah won the Science award and of course he was thrilled.  She said that he demonstrated a true love for all things science.  Nathan won the Art award and also the Art award from the Art teacher.  She talked about his love of art and his creativity.  Both boys were thrilled with their awards.  Afterwards, they all headed outside for a picnic.  They had a great day and it was a wonderful way to wrap up the year.

Last Day of School

These had to be some super happy kids to let me take pictures so early in the morning.  They were so excited about summer!!!  Here we come 2nd and 5th grade!!!

Spring Recital

Abby did a fantastic job dancing in her spring recital.  We were so proud of her especially since she missed several months leading up to the recital due to her surgery.  She went back after everyone learned the dance and caught up quickly.  It was a beautiful dance and she did it perfectly.
