Happy birthday Hayden

This weekend we celebrated Hayden's 5th birthday at a water park.  The kids played for a couple of hours and then we had cake and snacks.  It was such a fun party.  Hayden has had an exciting week.  He also found out a few days ago that he is getting a new baby sister.  He couldn't be more excited.  More baby spoiling ahead!!!  We can't wait.

Summer Fun

I tried not to schedule our summer too much because we were all so ready for some serious down time.  Abby has 2 weeks of ballet camp and the boys are taking swimming lessons.  Other than that we are playing, staying up late and sleeping late.  Abby has had several swim/play dates and went to spend the night with a friend.  The boys had a friend from church come over to play one morning and they had the best time.  This was their first official "play date."  We have spent countless hours at the pool already and they always run into school friends.  According to Nathan, everyone is his best friend.  One night we found ourselves at Steak & Shake eating dinner at 9:00.  We love summer!

Water Park

Belinda and I took the kids to a local water park.  They had the best time running around and playing.  They boys were actually too short for the slides which caused a bit of drama at first.  Finally we realized they were not really adhering to the height requirements so they pretty much spent the rest of the day on the slides.  We finished off our day by having pizza at Belinda's house and then we hung out while our kids drug out every toy they had.  It was a great day with friends.  We don't get to spend enough time together because of our kids' busy social lives. :)

Baseball

Here are a few more pics from one of the boys' games.  They have really been enjoying playing catcher lately.  It is so cute because they can hardly walk in the gear.  I think Bobby is still holding out that he might have a pitcher/catcher combo one day.  Noah had another hit in this game and drove in a run. He was so excited.  I think all the parents were even more excited than him.  He really has come a long way this season.

Baseball Awards and Pool Party

The boys team celebrated the end of their baseball season with a swimming and pizza party.  They had a great time swimming with all of their baseball friends.  Everyone received a trophy and award.  Nathan received the Hustle Award because he's always running.  Each time they come in from the outfield he always tells the coach that he wants to race him to the dugout.  Noah received the Most Improved Award.  He didn't get a hit for several games but the last 2 games he had hits.  During the last game he even had a RBI.  Both boys have really enjoyed this season and told us they wanted to play again.  We were very lucky to have super coaches this year also.
