Halloween 2013

We had a full day of celebrating on Halloween this year.  We started off our day at school with the Book Character parade and some special snacks.  It was a crazy day because mommy was actually at the school working that day so we had a very early start.  After school we ran home to put on a pot of soup and straighten up a little.  Nana, Papa, Alicia and Karlie came over for dinner and trick-or-treating.  We also snuck in one last celebration for mommy's birthday.  The kids had a ball trick-or-treating as usual and loved handing out the candy.

Family Pumpkin Patch Trip

Every year we go to the pumpkin patch with our friends Belinda, Kenny, Mary Helen and Maggie.  We have been going together since the boys were babies.  It's so fun to look  back at the pictures to see how the kids have grown and changed.  The kids look forward to our trip each year and are so excited to go with their friends.  We take tons of pictures because it's so pretty out there.  They visit the petting zoo where the bunnies are always a favorite.  This year we had a little incident because Belinda kept trying to take a close up picture of a llama and it spit on her.  This happened just as Bobby warned her to be careful because they spit.  It was pretty funny!  Even Belinda got a laugh.   The kids ran through the hay maze and slid down the slides.  Then we all went on  a hayride.  We had beautiful weather and had a great time!

Can you tell they are excited?
